Havant station, London, Brighton & South Coast Railway. Early photograph of the station buildings (built 1847). The exterior remained until 1889 when the downside was rebuilt and a new footbridge erected. The upside was rebuilt in 1894 and remained until 1938. The building on the left in the photograph, with a cab in front, was the refreshment room, which remained until 1938. Photo taken 1840s/1850s£
