This viaduct, in Welwyn, Hertfordshire, crosses the valley of the River Mimram, and carried its first train on 5th August 1850. Approx. 1, 560 feet in length, the viaduct has forty arches, each of 30 foot span, and is 98 feet above the river at its maximum height
